Vaginal spray gel

Colpofix® is an innovative vaginal spray gel for the prevention and treatment of cervical lesions caused by Human Papillomavirus (HPV). It acts through the control of physiological conditions on the cervico-vaginal transformation zone.

Its exclusive spray formulation allows for uniform and effective distribution of the gel on the cervico-vaginal mucosa, without associated spills.

The ergonomic shape of the applicators enable the cervix to be reached.

Composition:
Carboxymethyl beta-glucan – Promotes re-epithelialisation and regression of cervical lesions.
Thanks to its prebiotic effect, it also restores and maintains the vaginal microbiota, improving vaginal health.

Polycarbophil – Forms a film over the vaginal mucosa which protects the affected area from the deleterious action of external microbial agents.

COLPOFIX® is an effective spray for the prevention and treatment of cervical lesions caused by HPV. It acts through several mechanisms:

• formation of a film that protects the cervicovaginal mucosa from the harmful effects of external microbial agents, thanks to its bioadhesion capacity;
• promotion of re-epithelialization and regression of cervical lesions, thanks to the control of the physiological conditions of the cervicovaginal transformation zone through hydration;
• restoration and maintenance of vaginal microflora, thanks to pH regulation and prebiotic effect.

How to use COLPOFIX®

• Do not shake the product before use.
• Remove a vaginal applicator from its protective cover.
• Remove the cap from the spray bottle.
• Insert the applicator into the dispensing nozzle of the spray.
• Begin the application by depressing the vacuum dispenser button until some product appears.
• Insert the applicator deep into the vagina while lying on your back with your knees bent.
• 5 sprays per application.
• Each applicator is for a single use only: discard the applicator after use
• Close the spray with the cap.

Vaginal capsules with hyaluronic acid

HEXAGYN® uno, vaginal capsules, are a medicinal product with hyaluronic acid, which has a role in the treatment of vaginal dryness. It provides hydration and promotes the renewal of the vaginal mucosa. It has a soothing effect and eliminates discomfort caused by age-related vaginal dryness or estrogen deficiency, e.g. as a consequence of menopause.

• HEXAGYN® uno, vaginal capsules restore natural vaginal moisture in conditions of vaginal dryness, atrophy and dystrophy.
• the hyaluronic acid mixture contained in the product ensures the formation of a layer on the surface of the mucous membrane, which encourages the regeneration of the vaginal epithelium
• creates appropriate conditions for activating natural regenerative mechanisms / restores the ability of the mucous membrane to activate physiological repair processes during healing. It creates a natural barrier that prevents the development of pathogenic flora, restores natural moisture and accelerates the healing process.

Indications
HEXAGYN® uno, vaginal capsules:
• to relieve complaints associated with dryness of the vaginal mucosa, symptoms of pain, irritation, burning, itching or swelling of the vagina and vaginal lips;
• during menopause and in the postmenopausal period – to reduce discomfort caused by dryness of the vagina associated with age or lack of estrogen;
• in conditions of atrophy or dystrophy of the vaginal epithelium, it moisturizes and creates optimal conditions for the physiological regeneration of the vaginal mucosa;
• for moisturizing and protecting the vaginal mucosa and alleviating the symptoms of inflammatory conditions caused by the use of contraceptives, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), systemically applied glucocorticoids, diabetes medications;
• to restore proper lubrication of the mucous membrane, and thus the physiological function and regeneration ability of the vaginal mucosa after operations, childbirth and laser therapy or radiation therapy;
• as a lubricant to reduce pain during sexual activity

Contraindications and precautions
• capsules are intended for local use in the vagina, do not swallow them and avoid contact with the eyes;
• do not use if the package is damaged or after the expiration date stated on the label;
• do not use if there is any disturbing local reaction (in the intimate area) such as eczema, redness and swelling;
• do not use if you are allergic to any of the product’s ingredients;
• do not use this product with other vaginal products, including medical products, or seek medical advice. There are no known interactions with other medicinal products or medicinal products;
• do not use during menstruation and in case of acute infection, seek the advice of a doctor;
• do not use with latex condoms;
• keep out of reach of children

The use of HEXAGYN® uno, vaginal capsules in pregnant and lactating women requires medical approval due to the lack of data on studies in this population.

Method of use
The capsule removed from the inner packaging should be inserted deep into the vagina, taking care not to leave any pieces of protective film on the surface of the capsule.
• Standard therapy: 1 capsule per day, in the evening before going to bed for 7-14 days or according to the doctor’s instructions.
• Additional therapy: 1 vaginal capsule at night every 3 days or according to the doctor’s instructions to maintain a lubricated vaginal mucosa.
The product can be used for up to 30 days.
Use only internally, topically in the vagina. Wash your hands well before and after use.

Store in a well-closed package, in a dry place, away from light and heat sources, at a temperature of up to 25 °C.

Ingredients: low molecular weight hyaluronic acid (LMW) 5mg as sodium hyaluronate, high molecular weight hyaluronic acid (HMW) 5mg as sodium hyaluronate. Auxiliary substances: semi-synthetic glycerides.
It does not contain hormones, vegetable oils or extracts and fragrances.

A small box containing two blister packs, 10 vaginal capsules of 2 g each.

• ANTI-INFLAMMATORY EFFECT The anti-inflammatory activity of seratiopeptidase is attributed to the hydrolysis of inflammatory mediators such as bradykinin, histamine and serotonin. Proteolytic activity on the cell surface leads to changes in the adhesion of molecules that direct inflammatory cells to their targets.
• ANTI-EDEMATOUS EFFECT Dilutes fluid caused by inflammation and injury, allowing it to be eliminated faster, dissolves dead tissue around the wound, improves microcirculation at the site of injury and leads to an acceleration of the repair process of damaged tissue.
• FIBRINOLYTIC EFFECT Breaks down fibrin, an insoluble protein by-product of blood coagulation.
• ANALGESIC EFFECT Relieves pain by preventing the release of pain-causing amines, such as bradykinin. It hydrolyzes inflammatory mediators, which reduces swelling and improves microcirculation, thereby reducing pain caused by pressure on nerve endings at the site of inflammation.
• EFFECT ON BIOFILM Serratiopeptidase exhibits the property of modifying adhesion molecules and thus reduces proteins on the cell surface. Serratiopeptidase modulates adhesion expression in some bacterial species and enhances the efficacy of AB against Biofilm-forming bacteria.

CHYMOTRYPSIN, A PROTEOLYTIC ENZYME, CUTS PROTEINS AT PLACES ALONG THE PROTEIN CHAIN THAT CONTAIN VERY LARGE AMINO ACIDS SUCH AS PHENYLALANNINE, TYROSINE AND TRYPTOPHANE.

It helps reduce redness and swelling caused by surgery or infection and helps heal wounds/traumatic tissue injuries faster. Its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and anti-infective properties help to resolve the inflammation caused by the injury and help to facilitate the healing process. Trypsin and chymotrypsin are proteolytic enzymes that remove swelling by exerting a proteolytic effect on wounds, hematoma and pain, promote phagocytosis to remove cellular debris and accelerates recovery. They help relieve severe pain and swelling in postoperative wounds and other inflammatory diseases.

TRYPSIN IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT EXOGENOUS PROTEIN HYDROLASES AND CAME INTO CLINICAL USE IN THE 1960’S. TRYPSIN IS AN ENDOPEPTIDASE THAT SELECTIVELY HYDROLYZES PEPTIDE CHAINS ON ARGININE AND LYSINE RESIDUES, WHICH ARE CREATED IN AN INFLAMMATORY RESPONSE. EXOGENEOUSLY INJECTED TRIPSIN ACCELERATES WOUND HEALING BY WEAKENING THE INFLAMMATORY REACTION, REDUCING EDEMA AND PROTECTING AGAINST INFECTION.

Reduces the effects of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1, TNF-a and IFN-g in tissues under inflammation Restarts the fibrinolytic process in inflamed and injured tissues, the fibrin barrier is broken, promoting the absorption of fibrin exudate Helps restore local microcirculation, remove inflammatory edema and promoting tissue regeneration. Trypsin also acts on macrophages. Exogenous application of trypsin may therefore have anti-infective properties, by inducing enhanced phagocytic activity of macrophages, thereby enhancing phagocytosis at the site of infectious inflammation. Trypsin plays a role in promoting wound healing by regulating fibroblast differentiation.
